Term
  • Wireless Edge Protection Plan is for thirty-six (36) months during which your Plan Payment will be fixed.
  • You will have the option to cancel your Plan at any time by serving 30 days' notice in advance through the submission of the cancellation form online.
  • You cannot submit any claim for loss, theft or damage during the first 90 days after the Plan becomes effective and you will not be entitled to any form of compensation and cost reimbursement arising out of any incidence that occurred during this initial 90-day period.
Monthly Plan Payment
  • Plan Payment will be charged against your credit card on the date your plan is approved and, thereafter, monthly on the same date during the term of your plan.
  • If at any time during the term of the plan that your credit card payment is declined, we will try to process the payment an additional two times. If payment still cannot be processed one of our representatives will contact you and help you update your credit card information. If we cannot process your payment by the next billing date, your plan will automatically be cancelled. During the period when payment cannot be processed, your plan coverage will be temporarily suspended.
Claim Deductible
  • A claim deductible in the amount equivalent to 30% of the current listed price of replacement phone will be charged.
  • A claim deductible in the amount of $25 will be applicable for repair works done.
Claim Filing and Handling
  • You must contact our client care department or go online to file a claim.
  • You must ensure that the information provided on the claim form is correct to avoid delays in processing your claim.
  • You can only file claims on phones and accessories covered under a valid plan.
  • Claim must be reported and filed within 10 business days of damage or loss.
  • For stolen or lost phone and/or accessory, you must file a police report and submit a copy of the police report to substantiate your claim.
  • It is your responsibility to report any theft or loss to the carrier so that your account can be blocked from illegal use. You will be responsible for all carrier's charges and expenses on your account.
  • You may also request us to block the ESN/IMEI number of your lost or stolen device.
  • We will ship you a loaner phone within two 24 hours from the date your claim is approved based on your implicit agreement that (a) you will not cause any damage to the loaner phone; (b) that you will reimburse us all costs and expenses to repair or replace the loaner phone should you cause any damage to the loaner phone; (c) you will return the loaner phone within five (5) business days from the date your receive your repaired or replacement phone; (d) you will be charged $200 for a regular loaner phone and $300 for a smart loaner phone should you fail to return the same within the time frame specified.
  • We will cover all shipping charges during the entire claim process and you will be provided with pre-paid shipping slip of designated courier for any required shipment.
Claim Settlement and Limitation
  • We will try to repair the device/accessory whenever possible. Failing which, you will be provided with a replacement phone/accessory.
  • We will try to replace your damaged phone/accessory with the same make and model. If the same make and model is not available, you will be provided with options to choose amongst similar devices.
  • There is no guarantee that the color, brand and accessories will be the same as your damaged device.
  • Damaged devices/accessories may be replaced with new or refurbished devices/accessories.
  • Cumulative claim(s) value cannot exceed $600 over the term of the plan. Once the claim value reaches the maximum amount, your plan will terminate automatically.
Events causing the plan to terminate or become void
  • Non-payment of monthly Plan Payment
  • Cumulative claim value reaches $600 during the term of the plan
  • ESN/IMEI changes on your wireless account
  • Plan term expiry after the initial 36-month term
Refunds on Plan Payment
  • There will not be any plan payment refund for any cancellation or termination during a month.
